Many thanks to Bob and Carol Jenkins (Fred Mackey’s daughter) on the generous donation for the Time on Target web site! Bob and Carol hosted a 945th FAB reunion in Elizabethtown, Kentucky that featured a trip to the Patton Museum at Fort Knox.

Bill and Debbie Cosgrove visited the Lorraine area of France and Luxembourg while retracing the steps of the 945th FAB. Locations visited in France included Nancy, the Moselle River, Moncel-sur-Seille (Hq location), the Grememcey Forest, and Rodalbe . Locations in Luxembourg included Consdorf (Hq location), Berdorf, and Echternach (site of the Sauer River crossing on Feb 7, 1945). I hope to post photos soon!

Betty Williams Prather writes to tell us that her husband Bob Prather will be appearing as an extra in the hallmark Hall of Fame movie “Lost Valentine” which will air in February as a CBS Movie of the Week. Bob can be seen wearing his 945th FAB cap in the movie that stars Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Bob will be in the scene where Betty White visits a VA hospital looking for her husband who was MIA in World War Two. The scene was filmed at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta.

Hi Bill,

Just wanted to share some information about my husband Bob Prather. Last week he was an extra in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie with Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt. I'm attaching a photo of a scene he was in with Betty. Notice he's wearing his 945th cap! They wanted war veterans for scenes at a VA hospital that Betty White's character visits as she searches for her husband who was MIA in WWII. The outside VA scenes were actually shot at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.

I thought we were done with the movie after that day, but then I got an email from the production assistant saying they wanted Bob for the final scene which was shot at the state capital building's rotunda. In that scene, he's wearing his sgt. major uniform. I don't have the stills yet from that scene but will pass them along as soon as I get them.

The movie is called "The Lost Valentine" and is scheduled to air around Valentine's Day next year. It will be a CBS Movie of the Week. We'd like to share this info with the rest of the 945th if you wouldn't mind forwarding this email to those who have email addresses. Bob and I are doing fine. My job was eliminated last November so I was forced into early retirement. I'm thoroughly enjoying not working though. My job was getting very stressful with corporate politics and what-have-you, so now I can focus on Bob's care full-time. He gets around with a walker; he could actually walk without it, but his balance has gotten so bad.
